HM encouraging separatists in creating J&K pure Islamic state: VHP

Jammu: Warning centre leadership for being generous to separatist in making Jammu and Kashmir as pure Islamic state, Vishwa Hindu Parishad State Chief Dr. Ramakant Dubey said that instead of encouraging true, faithful and nationalist people in Valley government is succumbing to people like Ali Shah Geelani and his likes who are hell bent to disintegrate country.

Dr. Dubey ridiculed Home Minister (HM) P. Chidambaram for using phrase “unique problem unique solution”. He said such circumstances occurred during 1947, 1989 and several other times but what remained unique is accession of state with union of India. He said in jail during December 1967, Sheikh Abdullah wrote a letter to Khawaja Ghulam Ahmed wherein blue print of annexing Kashmir from India was designed by Geelani and Maqbool Bhat. Dr Dubey informed that Geelani and separatists have single point agenda of splitting country in pieces. He added that Geelani and other like minded people should be sent behind bars and Governor’s rule should be imposed before August 14th, in the interest of nation.

Replying a question, Dr Dubey during a joint press conference of VHP and Bajran Dal held here today, expressed discomfort over extending support to Kashmiris by Muslims of Jammu region especially from Rajouri-Poonch, Doda-Kishtwar and Ramban-Banihal. Dr Dubey said neither culturally nor socially Muslims of Jammu region are similar to Kashmiris besides their language is different. “Muslims of Jammu must have stood with the people of Jammu at the time of crisis” he added.  “If government of India remains unmoved with our suggestions, then further programme will be framed to force centre leadership to refrain from appeasement policies towards separate in a couple of days” he said and added that mass awareness campaign across the country would be launched to highlight practical position of Kashmir and the treatment there by Central Government.

Replying another query, Dr Dubey said that government is treating Hindus of country as second class citizen and looks upon patriotic people who sacrificed their entire life for unity and integrity of the nation with doubt. He said that indicting patriotic Hindus in false cases and prosecuting them has created insecurity among the Hindus of the country who feel, being Hindu in India is a sin.
